Ashley Brodie’s love of antique forms and other fragments of the past leads her to mirror these qualities in her own metal-smithing techniques. She uses sustainable materials, such as recycled steel, gold, and silver to create simplistic modern day jewelry that redefines conventional notions of what is precious.

Ashley Brodie graduated with Honors from East Carolina University with a B.F.A. in Metal Design in 2001. She also studied at Montana State University and at the Gemological Institute of America. Ashley currently creates in her studio in Durham, North Carolina.
